Product List
Before introducing the LPC29xx, it is essential to take a look at the ARM968E-S core on which this family is based. The ARM968E-S and the ARM926EJ-S are part of the ARM9E processor family. The ARM968E-S CPU is the smallest and lowest power CPU in this processor family. The family implements the ARMv5TE instruction set and features an enhanced 16 x 32-bit multiplier which is capable of single cycle MAC operations, and 16-bit fixed point DSP instructions. These instructions help to accelerate signal processing algorithms and applications. The ARM968E-S processor has separate directly connected instruction and data Tightly Coupled Memory (TCM). The core also provides the ETM9 interface which is crucial for deeply embedded debugging.
