This slide highlights the various low-cost LED drivers available from Infineon. The recently introduced BCR320U/BCR420U family is part of the Infineon low-cost LED driver portfolio that offers LED driving solutions for the most commonly available LED power classes. The BCR401W/BCR402W are one of the lowest-cost LED drivers in the industry, with an adjustable LED current from 10 mA to 60 mA. Rated at up to 18 V supply voltage, the linear BCR40xW series are also one of the smallest available LED drivers available in an SOT343 package. The BCR401U/BCR402U/BCR405U feature a 40 V supply voltage and a higher power dissipation, which makes them well suited for long strings of LEDs with high voltage drop across the power line. The BCR450 is an LED driver ideal for driving high-power LEDs in the range of 1 W and 3 W. In combination with an external transistor, the output current can be adjusted between 85 mA to 1 A.
