Trion® is the family name for Efinix low power small form-factor, volume driven FPGA components. The unique architecture used in the Trion family is the Quantum technology. This technology advantage gives the devices much of their unique capability in the marketplace. eFPGAs or embedded FPGAs and the ASIC flow allows Efinix to take customer specific functions or third party functions and ‘harden’ them to further drive cost and power out of those SOC solutions. Efinity is the software development environment for both the Trion component solutions and the eFPGA/ASIC solutions. It provides a complete RTL-to-bitstream flow in a user friendly interface.
