The Protocol Analyzer on the Digital Discovery allows users to send and receive data over communication protocols to sensors or parts of the user's designs. The Digital Discovery provides a protocol analyzer to send and receive over UART, read and write over SPI, and read and write over I²C. Users can write custom protocol analyzers with a scripting interface. Examples of custom analyzers for some Pmods and other ICs are provided within the Protocol Analyzer. The Logic Level and output drive is selectable.
