The logic analyzer tool on the Digital Discovery has selectable sample rate and channels. The user can choose between 32 channels at 200 MS/s, 16 channels at 400 MS/s, and 8 channels at 800 MS/s. The logic analyzer buffer is a 2 Gbit DDR3 Acquisition buffer. Along with displaying the digital signals, the logic analyzer provides digital signal and bus analyzers including SPI, I²C, UART, I²S, CAN, and 1-wire. The user can write a custom bus analyzer through the scripting interface. Users can select to have no trigger, an automatic trigger, or configure a trigger from an external signal or any of the other tools on the Digital Discovery. The logic high level can be selected from between 1.2V to 3.3V from within the power supply tool. The logic analyzer is also 5V compatible.
