The latest family of Bourns® Multifuse® PPTC devices is the MF-RM series. This is the first family of Bourns® Multifuse® PPTC devices that are designed to operate in mains rated AC circuits of up to 240 VAC. Traditionally, Polymer PTCs have been targeted at DC circuits that operate at less than 72 V, but the MF-RM series opens a whole new application segment for Multifuse® Polymer PTCs. The first models of this family provide hold current values from 50 mA up to 550 mA. All models within the family are UL listed and come in a radial through-hole package.
