To reduce design-in time and kick-start a customer’s design process, Microchip offers a series of software stacks tailored to the needs of various applications. If complexity is measured in flash sizes/footprints of each software package, the list of various packages can be from the smallest (about 2K) up to the more complex packages (about 120K). Proprietary ISM applications are demonstrated and developed using the Microchip Wireless Software Library which is described later in this presentation. The library is available in source code from www.atmel.com/wireless. Look for the AVR2025 application note. The ZigBee RF4CE stack supports the following public profiles: ZigBee Remote Control (ZRC), ZigBee Input Device such as mice and keyboards (ZID), and ZigBee 3D glasses (Z3D). The ZigBee PRO stack supports the following public profiles: ZigBee Home Automation (ZHA), ZigBee Building Automation (ZBA), ZigBee Smart Energy (ZSE), ZigBee Light Link (ZLL), ZigBee Telecom Applications (ZTA) and ZigBee Health Care (ZHC).
