Intel® uses standard design flows for both the processor and FPGA. On the hardware side, developers use the Intel® Quartus® II design software to create custom logic within the FPGA. The Qsys system integration tool lets designers quickly build a custom system on a chip using a graphical design entry tool to add IP components, automatically generating an optimized network-on-chip interconnect, simulation testbench, and system header file for the software engineer. Signal Tap embedded logic analyzer and System Console debug tools help debug the system once it is running in the FPGA. Software developers can use the familiar Arm®-based development tools available from Arm®, industry-leading partners, and the open source community.
