RC1910x PCIe Gen6 Clock Buffer

Renesas RC1910x is a PCIe Gen6 1.8 V buffer designed for datacenters, Ethernet switches, and portable applications. It features a slew rate and amplitude selection pin, offering low power consumption, compact packaging, and high performance, making it ideal for next-generation technology.

The RC1910x is part of a comprehensive PCIe Gen6/7 portfolio that includes high-performance buffers and multiplexers (Mux) designed for space-saving, robust designs. These products are PCIe Gen6/7 compliant, offering excellent performance in terms of additive jitter, in-out delay, out-out skew, and power supply noise rejection (PSNR). The compact design, ranging from 3 mm x 3 mm to 5 mm x 5 mm packages, supports multiple variants and reduces the need for external components, making it suitable for various applications.

Advanced features such as loss-of-signal (LOS) logic output for system monitoring, flexible startup sequencing (FSS) for flexible clock input timing, and automatic clock parking (ACP) for signal loss events enhance the system's robustness and security. Additionally, selectable SMBus addresses with write protection, power down tolerant (PDT) behavior, and an extended industrial temperature range ensure reliable performance even in harsh conditions.
