RACM230-G Series AC/DC Converter

RECOM's RACM230-G is a 230 W open-frame AC/DC medical-grade converter

The RACM230-G series has a 4" x 2" footprint, low standby power consumption, and a high efficiency rating of 90%. It is able to support up to 160 W with conduction cooling and up to 230 W with conduction plus forced air cooling. This makes it ideal for dynamic loads that require bursts of peak power. It has an input range of 80 VAC to 264 VAC and an operating temperature range of -40°C up to +80°C. It is medically certified to 60601-1 2MOPP, has 4 kVAC isolation, and is capable of operating up to 5,000 m (~16,000 ft) altitude. The series is internationally certified and ideal for household and industrial ITE applications.

RACM550-G Series AC/DC Converter

RECOM's RACM550-G series is a high power medical-grade AC/DC converter in a compact 5" x 3" package

The RACM550-G series is capable of 300 W continuous power with conduction cooling, while also capable of 550 W for dynamic peak loads with forced convection cooling. It also includes a smart fan output. It has 5 V/1 A VSB output for housekeeping circuits requiring ON/OFF control. For medical applications, it has 2MOPP certification, a wide operating temperature range of -40°C up to +70°C, universal input range, and can operate up to 5000 m.

RACM1200-V Series AC/DC Converters

The RACM1200-V is a European designed and manufactured power supply with a unique baseplate cooling design that supports heat dissipation directly through the metal enclosure without raising the internal temperature. It consumes less than 1 W in standby mode, has a 95% efficiency rating and provides an isolated 5 VSB/1 A auxiliary output.

With an adjustable smart fan output, it can drive external cooling fans when needed thus providing enhanced thermal management and fast system integration. It has built-in EMC filtering up to Class B and meets 2MOPP insulation requirements.

Both the main output and Aux 5 VSB have independent 2 kVAC isolation barriers to ground. The isolation from input to output is 4 kVAC/1 min. It also includes a special function where various firmware settings can be adjusted for simple modifications.

RBBA3000 Series DC/DC Converter

RECOM's high-power DC/DC converters feature a 96% efficiency rating

The RBBA3000 series comes in a half-brick package, is capable of 3000 W, and is highly efficient with a rating of 96%. It possesses a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The converters also feature trimmable output voltages and current.

These modules are ideal for higher voltage battery power conversion, electric vehicles, or battery voltage stabilizers.
