ERU Series of High Current Inductors

The EPCOS brand ERU series of high current inductors includes a flat-wire helically-wound coil, which results in extremely low resistance. Along with a short winding path, it has a high winding fill factor and utilizes less of the core window as no bobbin is needed. The large contact area provides excellent thermal performance in a compact, low-profile footprint.

The flat wire high current choke series has recently added a number of innovations to our existing portfolio, including a new double E core construction and a reduced footprint. The 4 new models, along with our standard E and I core models, provide the market with various energy storage solutions for a wide range of applications.

For DC/DC converters, point-of-load converters and voltage regulator modules, the ERU series is a great choice when designing solutions for automotive, industrial, and telecommunication applications.
