PI3DPX8121A Active Mux Switches

Diodes PI3DPX8121A 2-to-1 four-channel active mux switches support both the DP 2.1 and 4-lane eDP 1.4/DP 1.4 protocols at a data rate of 13.5 Gbps. Additionally, they flip the sideband signals for HPD and AUX. Their maximum equalizer gain controls are +10.2 dB for DP 2.1 and +7.6 dB for eDP 1.4/DP 1.4 to compensate for the insertion loss along the channel connection.

In its non-blocking mode, the PI3DPX8121A is compatible with the link training transparent PHY repeater (LTTPR) data path type. Enhancing overall signal integrity maximizes the channel link adjustment carried out by the system transmitter and receiver. At the ReDriver™ inputs, continuous time linear equalization (CTLE) is used to compensate for channel loss and lessen ISI jitter. The eye diagram can be opened with the help of adjustable linearity and programmable flat-gain. The device operates in the temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC with a supply voltage of 3.3 V and comes in a W-QFN5090-60 (5 mm x 9 mm, 0.4 mm pitch) (ZL60) package.
