Digi-Key has worked with industry leaders to help drive almost instantaneous ideation and these starters are ideal building blocks to help get your concepts created, drawn and documented in almost no time at all.The air purifier or also called as air filter is a device that cleanses the air by using fibrous materials that separates dust, pollen, mould, and bacteria from the air. One of the parts of an air filter that enables it to absorb the air from the surrounding is the air filter motor. As the air filter absorbs air and clean it, some of the dirt comes in contact with the motor and causes it to malfunction, draw a much bigger current to maintain its rotating speed, and then overheat. One way to protect the motor and the circuit driving it is to install a polyswitch resettable device between the power supply and the motor.
There are different types of screens embedded to consumer electronic devices in which some of them are now touch gesture enabled. The touch gesture enabled display or commonly called as touchscreen provides convenience to users in which data manipulations and interaction are much faster compared to devices using typical controllers. Due to the market demand, several manufacturing industry are now in mass production of touchscreen display that signifies visual display improvements are now expected to electronic devices. This circuit design features a simple touch-sensing application. It is capable of resistive touch screen that uses X and Y coordinates calculation with built-in filter to improve stability. It also uses four capacitive keys in different configurations such as rotary, slider, and keypad. The communication ports are both available in UART and I2C. The system can operates in three modes such as normal run mode, sleep mode, and shutdown mode that saves energy.
The reference design as shown is a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver evaluation board. This design provides designers convenient way for evaluating SFP fiber-optic transceivers as well as SFP multisource agreement (MSA). The SFP transceivers have a wide range of detachable interfaces to multimode/single-mode fiber optics, which allows users to select the appropriate transceiver according to the required optical range for the network. The SFP interfaces between communication devices like switches, routers and fiber optic cables, and performs conversions between optical and electrical signals.
This project is specifically designed for use in motorcycle cooling systems, which offers excellent airflow performance using TE Connectivity's Low Insertion Force FASTON 2238027-3. The terminals' new ergonomic design makes them easy to apply, while it's high temperature or brass options provide design flexibility and improved productivity.
This USB tilt module is an acceleration sensing device. It is a two axis accelerometer to measure acceleration caused by motion or tilt. This device is also a USB dongle that allows it to connect to any device with USB interface like desktop computers and cellphones that support "on the go" USB connection.
Automotive applications are quite in demand nowadays in which several developments are being done using embedded system. In automotive, majority of its part can be integrated to electronics, which made the automobiles more useful and convenient. This design features a tire pressure monitoring system. It has S08 core with System Integration Module (SIM), interrupt and debug/monitor that is low power, and can access direct-page registers/RAM in most efficient addressing mode and supports bit-banding. It also uses X- and Z-axis accelerometers with signal interface to ADC10 that allows tire recognition with appropriate algorithms analyzing the rotating signal caused by the Earth's gravitational field.
This audio spectrum analyzer basically displays the measured power of a spectrum of known and unknown signal. It is a visual reference of sound that is well suited in monitoring tracks and instrument placements in the mix. The device uses the Freescale's 8 bit S08 microcontroller which is responsible for signal sampling. This MC9S08PA32AVLH microcontroller has on chip memory with internal clock source containing a frequency locked loop controlled by internal reference. It also has a built-in ADC with 160channel, 12 bit resolution, and 2.5µs conversion time.
This design features a typical application of wireless zigbit module that is home automation. It optimized the system sensors and energy consumptions that provide convenience to users. It is compact in size and easily configured to provide real-time update to the system. It is also mesh networking capable and can be operate license-free worldwide.
Gesture recognition, a type of perceptual user interface (PUI), is the process by which gestures formed by the user are interpreted mathematically by a computing device. In general, gesture recognition is the ability of a computer to understand gestures and execute commands based on those gestures. In the world of gesture recognition, a gesture is defined as any physical movement, large or small, that can be interpreted by a motion sensor. It may include anything from the pointing of a finger to a roundhouse kick or a nod of the head to a pinch or wave of the hand. Gestures can be broad and sweeping or small and contained. In some cases, the definition of "gesture" may also include voice or verbal commands.
This reference design is a power management of Xilinx ZedBoard using MMPF0100 Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC). A PMIC is an IC for managing power requirements of the host system and is commonly used in a system-on-chip (SoC) device. On the other hand, the Xilinx ZedBoard, a development board based on Zync-7000 AP SoC, provides appropriate hardware capabilities for interfacing with a number of peripherals and compatible expansion headers for Xilinx Analog to Digital Converter (XADC), FPGA Mezzanine Card (FMC) and Digilent Pmod.
